Bundoran Community Library is located on Station Road, between the newly opened Health Centre and the 6 screen cinema, also recently opened. The building is a consciously modern one, with imaginative use of steel and glass, and the surfaces are brightly painted. Sculptor Brendan McGloin has created a two-part artwork based on the Four Masters, who wrote their ground-breaking Annála Rioghachta Éirinn [The Annals of the Four Masters] at nearby Bundrowes. One piece is located inside the Library and the other is the centrepiece of plaza in front of the building.

Bundoran Community Library has a wide-ranging selection of books and other materials for lending to both children and adults – books, CDs, videos, etc. - ca 16,000 items in all. The Library is also building up a collection on the history, natural history, economy, archaeology and culture of County Donegal, and especially of the Bundoran area and the south of the county.
